Outcome Measures for Pediatric Depression

VHAN primary care providers are often at the front lines of screening and assessing the behavioral health concerns of their patients. At times, primary care providers encounter patients who are experiencing depression. Due to a national shortage of psychiatrists and other behavioral health providers, primary care providers are often tasked with prescribing and managing anti-depressant medication for their patients.

Join network Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Meg Benningfield, M.D., to learn more about best practices in treating and monitoring depression in children and adolescents. This webinar will focus on:

  • Best practices when prescribing medication for pediatric patients with depression
  • Strategies to effectively monitor depressive symptoms in pediatric patients
  • Network resources, including the VHAN Pediatric Behavioral Consult Line, to assist with the behavioral healthcare needs of your patients
