Building Confidence in the Vaccine and Easing Return-to-Work Anxieties

Vanderbilt Health is hosting a webinar featuring Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) experts discussing strategies for instilling vaccine confidence and navigating the return to work and life in a post-pandemic world.

VUMC infectious disease expert David Aronoff, MD, will reiterate the safety of vaccinations and offer guidance on ways to mitigate vaccine hesitancy. VUMC behavioral health expert Abhi Saxena, MD, will address anxiety around returning to work and navigating life’s big transitions while coming off a tough season of personal struggles and loss.

About the Speakers

David Aronoff, MD, is the Addison B. Scoville Chair in Medicine and Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). Throughout the pandemic, he has advised Ryman Hospitality Properties, American Airlines and Nashville employers with the Good to Go program on disease prevention

Abhinav Saxena, MD, MBA, is the medical director of hospital services for Vanderbilt Behavioral Health and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He oversees the 106-bed Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital and the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
