Vanderbilt Children’s Specialty Clinics are located just off the 45 Bypass. Parking and entrance to the clinic is off Stonebridge Boulevard. We have free street-level parking.

FAQs

What safety precautions are in place at Vanderbilt Children’s Specialty Clinics Jackson?

  • Everyone must wear a face mask to enter our hospitals, clinics and other facilities. This includes patients, visitors and our doctors, nurses and staff. If everyone wears a mask, we all protect each other.
  • We’re screening everyone who enters our hospitals, clinics and facilities for fever and other symptoms.
  • We’re sanitizing rooms between each patient and cleaning public areas often.
  • We’re taking steps to allow safe distancing. This includes spacing chairs in the waiting areas and limiting the number of people who can use the elevator at one time.
  • Because having COVID-19 can complicate recovery, we are testing patients for the virus before they have surgery or other procedures requiring general anesthesia at Children’s Hospital in Nashville.
  • We currently have restrictions on visitation to limit the number of individuals who enter our buildings.

How we are keeping you safe

My child is scheduled for a procedure at Children’s Hospital. Can we get our pre-procedure COVID test done at this location?

Yes. Please call our office at 1-877-655-5437 to schedule your test during our office hours. Test must be completed 72 to 48 hours prior to your child’s procedure.

Can my child get imaging or labs done at this location?

Yes, we can draw labs on site. They are processed through Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and results are available through your child’s My Health at Vanderbilt account. Stat labs may be referred locally. Imaging services currently available include EKG and ECHO. Additional imaging may be available in the future.

What adult services does VUMC offer in Jackson?

Vanderbilt University Medical Center offers telehealth kidney transplant consultations, liver/hepatobiliary transplant consultations and surgical weight loss evaluations at this location.

Vanderbilt Health participates in many local and national health insurance plans, including Tennessee Medicaid plans. Vanderbilt may not participate in all plans offered by an insurance carrier. We encourage you to contact your insurance company to verify your coverage for care, including whether a referral is needed.
