What is MyHealth Bundles?

Vanderbilt Health is providing employers, employees, and patients with an enhanced care experience through MyHealth Bundles. Initially offering the MyMaternityHealth Bundle, this program will expand throughout the next 12-24 months to offer additional bundled services.

This program “bundles” and coordinates all of the care – exclusively through Vanderbilt Health providers – needed for specific medical conditions with an innovative, patient-centered approach. MyHealth Bundles combine state-of-the-art medical treatment with concierge patient services to ensure you and those covered under your health plan receive world-class care quickly and easily with lower or no out-of-pocket costs.

How will this program benefit me?

Vanderbilt Health cares about you, your experience with our providers, and the quality of care you receive. Patients enrolled in MyHealth Bundles will receive a concierge care experience coordinated through a Patient Navigator. While each MyHealth Bundle will be different, many will include:

  • Simplified scheduling for appointments and medical procedures
  • Telehealth services to supplement in-person appointments
  • More ways to conveniently connect to Vanderbilt Health’s world-class providers
  • Lower out-of-pocket costs, and in many cases, no fees at all
What bundles programs are currently available?

Our maternity bundle, MyMaternityHealth, is active. Fill out this form to get started with MyMaternityHealth.

Programs for back pain (spine surgery), hip and knee joint replacement (osteoarthritis), and surgical weight loss (bariatric surgery) are coming soon. Register to be notified when more information is available.

In addition, Vanderbilt Health plans to roll out several more bundles in 2020.

Do I need to enroll?

Yes. Eligible health plan beneficiaries must enroll to qualify.

How do I enroll in MyMaternity Health?

A three-step process is necessary to ensure your care is covered as part of a MyHealth Bundle program:

  1. Register to Learn More: Fill out the online form at https://select.vanderbilthealth.com/Bundle.html to register. By registering, you are agreeing to receive future updates on the MyMaternity Health and MyHealth Bundles program and be contacted by a Vanderbilt Health Patient Navigator.
  2. Complete a Pre-Screening with a Patient Navigator: The Patient Navigator will help determine if you qualify through your employer and can help schedule your appointments with a Vanderbilt Health provider. Your Patient Navigator is available to assist in coordinating all your care under the MyHealth Bundle program.
  3. Meet Your Care Team: Complete your first appointment with the Vanderbilt Health provider who will confirm your clinical eligibility to proceed with the MyHealth Bundles.
When can I enroll in a MyHealth Bundles program?
When you’re ready to schedule your first bundle-related visit contact the patient navigator to start the enrollment process.
How much do MyHealth Bundles cost?

Please check with your employer to confirm costs.

VUMC Employees:

MyHealth Bundles are part of your benefits package and will offer savings for VUMC employees who choose to utilize Vanderbilt Health providers for bundled care. VUMC employees and those covered under VUMC’s Aetna Plus or Aetna Select medical plans will be eligible to participate. Employees enrolled in the HealthSavers plan are not eligible to participate.

Are prescription costs included in the MyHealth Bundles program?

No, the MyHealth Bundles program will not affect your existing prescription drug coverage.

What is the maternity bundle?

MyMaternityHealth provides a concierge clinical and service experience for expectant mothers. The program is an innovative approach that coordinates and “bundles” all the services an expectant mother will receive as a part of their pregnancy.

What does the maternity bundle cost?

VUMC Employees:

For anyone who begins the MyMaternity Health bundle program in 2020 — meaning you have enrolled prior to your first prenatal visit that occurs after January 1, 2020 — there will be no copayment and the bundle will be provided at no cost to you. Beginning in 2021, a member copayment will be required. The amount of that copay is not currently known.

VUMC Employees:

Starting January 1, 2020, VUMC employees and those covered under your Aetna Plus or Aetna Select medical plans will be eligible to participate when utilizing Vanderbilt Health providers. Please note, the first prenatal care visit must occur after January 1, 2020 in order to be eligible. In addition, you must be enrolled in the maternity bundles, prior to the first prenatal visit.

Do I qualify if I am already pregnant or receiving prenatal care?

Please visit your employer's benefits website or speak with a patient navigator to confirm.

VUMC Employees:

Unfortunately no, the bundle benefit covers all prenatal care, delivery and 12 weeks post-delivery. To qualify, you need to register and contact the patient navigator before your first prenatal visit.

Do I need to enroll?

How will this new program benefit expectant parents?

This program provides maternity patients with a high-touch care experience through an assigned Vanderbilt Health Patient Navigator, facilitated access to Vanderbilt Health providers, and an enhanced focus on convenience and communication with no out-of-pocket cost.

What services are “bundled” in MyMaternityHealth?

The program is designed to provide coordinated maternity care for the entire length of the pregnancy, from the initial prenatal care visit through the delivery, and 12 weeks after birth. Services include:

  • Concierge service with a dedicated Patient Navigator
  • Your choice of VUMC midwives and physicians
  • Continuity of primary provider throughout your prenatal care
  • Convenient telehealth services for qualified patients covering select pre and postnatal appointments as well as diabetic and genetic consults
  • Free educational classes, including childbirth and lactation classes
  • Newly redesigned and remodeled labor, delivery and triage facilities
  • On-demand room services for mom and partner during hospital stay
  • Enhanced postpartum care
